The details

What it is, in plain words

A small receiver that gives a wired speaker, amplifier or car stereo with a 3.5 mm or RCA input a Bluetooth connection. Pair your phone once, plug the receiver into the input, and play music from your phone through equipment that never had Bluetooth built in.

  • BluetoothVersion 5.0
  • ChargingUSB-C, about 2 h
  • Size5.5 × 5.5 × 1.6 cm

It has a built-in rechargeable battery that lasts about 10 hours, charged over USB-C, and it reconnects to the last paired phone when it is switched on. Two cables are in the box: a 3.5 mm cable and a 3.5 mm to RCA cable for hi-fi inputs.

Range is up to about 10 m in the open; walls and other wireless devices shorten it. The sound quality depends on the speaker or amplifier it is connected to.

  1. Rafael Costa

Put it on the old hi-fi in the garage and now I play music from my phone through it. Pairing took seconds. The battery lasted a whole afternoon.

    The shop replied

Thank you, Rafael. A second life for the hi-fi. — Widgettrove

  2. Zsófia

Works with my old speakers perfectly. The sound is clear, no hiss that I can hear.

    The shop replied

    Thanks Zsófia. — Widgettrove

  3. D. Ivanov

I used the 3.5 mm cable to connect to the AUX of my old car and it works fine. Charging by USB-C is handy, I do not need a special cable.

  4. Luis F.

Good for the price. The connection drops if I walk into the next room with a wall in between, about the range they say. Four stars for that only.

    The shop replied

That matches what we say about range, Luis, and thank you for the honest review. — Widgettrove

  5. mikael

    The shop replied

    Thanks Mikael. — Widgettrove
