The details

What it is, in plain words

A big salad spinner for the days you wash a whole head of lettuce, a bunch of herbs or a pile of spinach in one go. Put the leaves in the basket, fill the bowl to rinse, then lift the basket and spin the water off by pulling the cord.

  • Capacity5 L
  • Diameter28 cm
  • Height18 cm

The 5 L bowl is clear, so you can see the leaves, and wide enough to serve from. A brake button stops the basket quickly, a rubber ring under the base stops the spinner sliding on the worktop, and the lid lifts off completely so it is easy to clean.

The bowl and basket go on the top rack of the dishwasher; wash the lid by hand.

Large enough for two heads of lettuce at once. The cord is smooth and the brake works. My kids like to pull it.

    The shop replied

    Thank you, Dalia. — Widgettrove

  2. bea s.

great size, doubles as a serving bowl, the leaves actually come out dry

    The shop replied

    Thanks Bea. — Widgettrove

It does what it should. Washed and dried a big bunch of spinach in a minute. The rubber ring keeps it from walking about on the worktop.

  4. Katarina

I use it every Sunday for the week's salad. It only just fits in my cupboard, it is bigger than I thought, so measure first.

    The shop replied

Good tip, Katarina. It is 28 cm across. — Widgettrove

  5. Georgi D.

Excellent. The lid comes off completely so cleaning is easy. Top rack of the dishwasher is fine for the bowl.

    The shop replied

Thanks Georgi, glad it cleans up easily. — Widgettrove
