Compost Bin, Small, 160 L

A small compost bin for garden and kitchen waste: grass cuttings, leaves, vegetable peelings, coffee grounds and eggshells. At 160 L it suits a small garden, and it stands directly on bare soil so worms and other helpers can move in from below.

• Volume160 L
• Size62 × 62 × 80 cm
• ColourDark green

The bin snaps together from its panels without tools. A hinged lid keeps out rain and animals, air slots let the heap breathe, and a hatch near the base lets you take finished compost out without tipping the whole bin. The panels are UV-stabilised polypropylene in dark green.

Put it on level ground in a half-shaded spot, and mix greens (wet kitchen waste, cuttings) with browns (dry leaves, cardboard). Do not add cooked food, meat or fish.
